This thriving cosmetic and oculoplastic surgery practice was flooded when plumbing failed in the medical offices above. The water damage was significant, so the practice needed more than just cosmetic repairs. Dr. Yoash Enzer and his entire team relocated temporarily to a clinical suite in a nearby medical building to allow repairs to proceed.

Wellen was engaged to manage the construction. Our project manager was also instrumental in helping Dr. Enzer negotiate with his insurance company to maximize coverage for repairs. The 2,058-square-foot space is located in a purpose-built medical building. We tried to salvage as much as we could, but we had to strip all of the drywall, most of the flooring and reframe several walls. Given the scope of the damage, it made sense to update the plumbing, electrical and elements of the HVAC system.

The newly restored clinic has three exam rooms, a procedure room, a full surgery suite with attached laboratory, a staff lounge, and administrative offices. The contemporary design features glass walls, dramatic ceramic tile and stone countertops. The four-month restoration was completed in June 2024.
